Tom Bromley is a Theoretical Physicist who is currently at Xanadu developing quantum machine learning algorithms. He studied Physics in the UK and graduated with his PhD in 2017. Tom’s research topic was quantum information theory, focusing on how quantum properties such as entanglement can be measured and used.
Mike brings with him experience in taxation, financial reporting, investments and real estate.
Prior to co-founding ConnectCPA, Mike worked as a Senior Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in small and medium sized business advisory. Mike also spent time as a tax and accounting manager at a mid-sized accounting practice and as an Investment Associate at a real estate private equity firm.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Schulich School of Business and is a Chartered Accountant.
In his spare time, Mike loves to spend time with his wife and family, including his nieces. He is also an avid golfer and likes to pretend that the highest score wins.
Sundi Sundaresh is a serial-entrepreneur and seasoned CEO. He has over twenty-five years of successful leadership experience as Board Member, CEO, General Manager (P&L), and senior executive in the development and growth of high technology businesses. Over his extensive career, Sundi has led organizations with up to 1500 people and revenues of up to $1B. And Sundi is no one trick pony – all his startups were incredibly diverse from location analytics to enterprise software to semiconductors. He is a visionary leader who always seems to rise to the occasion.
Chuck Goldman is a seasoned serial-entrepreneur, as well as CRO at SkyX, a company that is revolutionizing the way we manage long-range assets. He has successfully exited multiple successful tech companies like Apperian App management, Interactive Media Solutions and Applied CD Technologies. Apperian helped Apple accelerate the adoption of IOS in enterprise and was acquired by Blackberry and Arxan.
In between his Founder/C-suite roles, Chuck spent time in leadership positions at companies like Apple and Accenture. At Apple, he was Director of System Engineering for 8 years where he managed a team of 300+ engineers. During this time, he also ran Apple’s first state-wide laptop deployment to 70 thousand students and teachers.
This week’s guest is Anjalee Narenthiren. She is a 17-year-old serial-entrepreneur, world-robotics champion, and host of the 2020 show. She is a VEX robotics world champion, having beat out 20,000+ international teams. When she was just fifteen, she founded her first venture, TechExplore, a social enterprise that brought tech education to over 1000 kids, and was featured in publications like the Toronto Star, Thompson Reuters, and more. Now Anjalee is working to use her experiences as a young founder to help train the next generation of leaders through Startup Dojo.
Dr. Cynthia Lucas Hewitt is a Professor of Sociology, and Faculty of the African American Studies Program at Morehouse College. She is Director of the International Comparative Labor Studies program. Dr. Hewitt’s current research includes the impact of different authority structures on social well-being; and labor market outcomes of racial and ethnic inequality in the US. Dr. Hewitt is also a Kettering Foundation Whisenton Public Scholar.
